01. Scholarship Program Overview
The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS), administered by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) under the Ministry of Education of South Korea, invites international students from around the world to pursue fully funded Associate and Bachelor degree programs at top South Korean universities.
Applicants can apply through either the Embassy Track (allowing selection of up to 3 universities) or the University Track (direct submission to a single partner university). 03. Eligibility Criteria
- Both the applicant and their parents must hold foreign (non-Korean) citizenship.
- Must be under 25 years of age at the time of application for the Undergraduate program.
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 80% or above (or top 20% within class) in High School / Intermediate (FSc/A-Levels).
- IELTS is NOT mandatory at the time of application; an English Proficiency Certificate from your previous institution is accepted.
